I started at Zmarta Group in 2004 and have since then had many different roles within the company; Loan Officer, Senior Loan Officer, Support staff, Project Manager, Back Office Manager Nordic, Product and Process Manager Nordic and Germany, and finally Product Manager Consumer loans Nordic and Germany.

It has been interesting to be a part of the company’s journey. Going from being a small start-up company in Sweden with only seven employees to becoming a medium sized company with over 200 employees operating in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Germany. From focusing on selling our products over the phone to an increased focus on digitalization and on-line solutions.

Because of our internationalization, I now get to travel more in my work. Working across all countries is fun, yet sometimes challenging, with different markets and cultures which all need their “special touch” in order to succeed. Zmarta is a very ambitious company that is rapidly moving forward with constant change and improvement. A company that is increasingly going in the digital direction, which I personally find exciting!

Working here is challenging, stimulating and you are trusted with a lot of responsibility – something that quite is important to me. In my daily work, I have the influence and possibility to drive development both front-end as well as back-end which allows me to see the company constantly move forward and create great results. I feel that my work actually makes a difference which is a great feeling. Additionally, a lot of wonderful people are working here – which is one of the key elements to why the company is as successful as it is.

Outside work, I appreciate different forms of exercise such as gym, cycling, tennis, padel and running. Spending time with my partner, other family and friends is important to me. I also love animals and have a dog, a cat and several horses. Another interest of mine is traveling since I think it is exciting to experience new places.

I started at Zmarta Group in 2014. I am 34 years old and work as a business developer. At Zmarta Group I’m responsible for developing new products and services. For example, we have recently developed our Zmarta app “Zmarta Balans”, which helps you get a better understanding of how you spend your money and what you can do to reduce your monthly costs.

Zmarta Group is a great place to work for a number of reasons. For me the things that stand out are that I get to work with new projects all the time, that I have the freedom to work with what I think is important, and last but not least my amazing colleagues. Zmarta Group is an innovative company that dares to try new things. Everyone at Zmarta Group are actually driven by helping customers improve their personal finances. At the same time the atmosphere is very relaxed and unpretentious.

Outside work there are many things I enjoy. For instance, I like to constantly learn new things, fly (I’m on my way to get my pilot’s license), watch movies and TV-series, and to think of new ways to contribute to a better world.
